Daily Grace

Aug 6, 2019

Why shouldn’t we just study the Bible on our own? Isn’t Bible study a social thing? Or maybe you’re in a particularly busy season in life and Sunday worship is all you can manage. Maybe you’ve been hurt by believers in a small group in the past or you’re just afraid of not knowing enough about the Bible and looking ignorant. We’ve been there! And it’s true: engaging with any group of people on a deeper level requires vulnerability, and it’s risky! But when we look at God’s Word, we see that it was God’s design for us to grow together in community. We talk about the various different ways studying Scripture together actually deepens our understanding of God, others, and ourselves -- it’s necessary and good for us, and we don’t want to miss out!
