Missing the mark. Not measuring up. Failing. The question is: what standard are we using? What set of expectations do we feel like we’re failing to meet? And what do we do with our feelings of failure? There are three different categories of standards we should all consider: God’s, ours, and the world’s. Having a proper understanding of these standards can help us better define failure. And as believers, we have the truths of the gospel to help us navigate all of our perceived failures!
